Information about Teacher Eligibility Test being conducted by State/UTs and CBSE - reg. 

1. The NEP 2020 puts forward many policy changes when it comes to teachers and teacher education. The policy aims to ensure that all students at all levels of school education are taught by passionate, motivated, highly qualified, professionally trained and well-equipped teachers.

2. The NEP 2020 in acts changes in India's teacher education sector. under the reference of task no.  145 of the Ministry  of education letter dated 23rd October 2020. The NCTE has therefore constituted a committee to develop a comprehensive TET guideline/structure/Test components eat. to extend TET to all level of school education from preparatory to grade 12 aligned with NEP 2020 on or before 31st March 2021.

3. TET has become conducted since 2011 onwards by the state and CBSE and serval issues have been raised by the state government, some organizations, agencies, individuals and other stakeholder. The committee has to study the implementations of TET Guideline issued by NCTE, candidate wise,  questions wise data for psychometric analysis, the difficulties and problems being faced in conducting TET by the state government/UTs and CBSE.
